A quick and elegant tuna salad sandwich filled with zesty flavors of lemon and fresh dill, perfect for a breezy afternoon meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 (5 ounce) cans tuna in water, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup finely diced celery
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 croissants, split

Instructions

  1. Flake the drained tuna with a fork in a medium bowl until it reaches a nice, flaky texture.
  2. Add mayonnaise, fresh dill, lemon juice, lemon zest, diced celery, and diced red onion to the bowl.
  3. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Assemble the tuna salad mixture among the four split croissants.

Notes
