BBQ Ranch Meatball & Cheddar Pasta Skillet

A comforting one-skillet meal featuring juicy meatballs coated in BBQ and ranch flavors, combined with creamy cheddar pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 cups pasta (e.g., penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (for cooking)
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while you gather your ingredients.
  2. Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and half of the BBQ sauce in a bowl until well combined, then form into meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  5. Pour in the ranch dressing and remaining BBQ sauce to coat the meatballs.
  6. Stir in the cooked pasta and half of the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly combined.
  7. Top with the remaining cheese, then bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add herbs or spices to the meatball mixture. This dish can also be made with ground turkey or vegetarian alternatives.
