Delightful, fluffy cinnamon rolls filled with warm cinnamon sugar and topped with icing, perfect for brunch or any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (for filling)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 12 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Warm the Milk and Butter
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients
  3. Mix in Wet Ingredients
  4. Knead the Dough
  5. Let the Dough Rise
  6. Roll Out the Dough
  7. Sprinkle with Cinnamon and Sugar
  8. Roll Up the Dough
  9. Second Rise
  10. Preheat and Bake
  11. Prepare the Icing
  12. Drizzle and Serve

Notes

For best results, make sure your yeast is active, and knead the dough well for a fluffy texture.
