A delightful dish featuring juicy chicken breasts smothered in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, perfect for special occasions or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken in the skillet until golden on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the chicken broth, scraping up any brown bits from the pan.
  6. Create the creamy sauce by stirring in heavy cream and grated Parmesan until smooth.
  7. Season the sauce with Italian seasoning.
  8. Simmer the chicken in the sauce for another 2-3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute half the heavy cream with milk. Adjust seasoning to taste and consider adding red pepper flakes for heat.
