These Korean BBQ Meatballs are a delightful fusion of savory and sweet, paired with a unique spicy mayo dip that’s sure to please any crowd.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the ground meat, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, garlic, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into bite-sized meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through and slightly crispy.
  5. Prepare the spicy mayo dip by combining mayonnaise, sriracha, and rice vinegar in a bowl. Stir until well-mixed.
  6. Serve the meatballs warm alongside the spicy mayo dip.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute ground meat with a plant-based mix or finely chopped mushrooms.
