Delicious meatball subs filled with savory meatballs, rich marinara, and gooey mozzarella cheese, perfect for a cozy dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Brown the meatballs in a skillet with a little oil over medium heat.
  4. Simmer the meatballs in marinara sauce for about 10 minutes.
  5. Assemble the sub rolls on a baking sheet with meatballs and sauce.
  6. Add a handful of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each sub.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Pair with crispy fries or a fresh green salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
