Quick and Easy Lemon Chicken

A delightful dish featuring crispy chicken breasts in a rich garlic-lemon sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge the chicken breasts in flour and then coat them with parmesan cheese.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  5. Set the chicken aside.
  6. Melt the butter in the skillet and add the minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  7. Stir in the lemon juice and zest, scraping the bottom of the pan.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the lemon garlic sauce.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Pairs well with rice or mashed potatoes, and can also be served with a salad or lemony pasta.
