Quick and flavorful baked Cajun salmon topped with a creamy avocado lime sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets Salmon (fresh or fully thawed)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 medium Avocado
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Drizzle olive oil into a baking dish and spread it around.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Transfer the baking dish to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  5. While the salmon is baking, mash the avocado in a bowl and mix in lime juice, Greek yogurt, and minced garlic.
  6. Once the salmon is done, drizzle the avocado lime sauce over the fillets and garnish with cilantro, if desired.

Notes

Ensure salmon is at room temperature before cooking for even results. For milder flavors, adjust Cajun seasoning.
