A refreshing lemon basil sorbet that captures the essence of summer with its zesty flavor and aromatic basil.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Zest and juice the lemons.
  2. Blend the basil with the water until smooth.
  3. Mix the lemon juice, blended basil mixture, and sugar.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Freeze the mixture in a shallow dish for about 4 hours, stirring every hour.
  6. Scoop and serve in chilled bowls.

Notes

For a lower-sugar version, adjust the sugar to taste. Fresh, organic ingredients yield the best flavor.
