A comforting crockpot dish with Italian sausage and colorful bell peppers, perfect for easy family dinners.

  • 23 pounds Italian Sausage Links
  • 3 pieces Bell Peppers (Assorted colors)
  • 1 piece Onion (Sliced, opt for red or yellow onions)
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vegetables by slicing the bell peppers into strips and chopping the onion.
  2. Layer in the crockpot with sliced bell peppers and onions at the bottom.
  3. Add the Italian sausage links on top of the vegetables.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Pour the marinara sauce over the top, ensuring the sausages are coated.
  6. Set the temperature on the crockpot to low for 6-8 hours or high for about 3-4 hours.
  7. Serve hot over pasta, in a sub, or with fresh bread.

Notes

Customize vegetables and use turkey sausage for a lighter dish. For a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last hour of cooking.
