A quick and satisfying dish of noodles paired with flavorful ground beef in a savory soy sauce glaze.

Ingredients

  • Noodles (e.g., egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • Ground beef
  • Soy sauce
  • Brown sugar
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Ginger (minced)
  • Scallions (chopped)
  • Bell peppers (optional)
  • Snow peas (optional)
  • Spices (e.g., black pepper, chili flakes)
  • Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add soy sauce and brown sugar; stir to combine and let the mixture simmer slightly.
  6. Mix in the cooked noodles, scallions, and any additional veggies like bell peppers and snow peas.
  7. Adjust seasoning with spices such as black pepper and chili flakes to taste.
  8. Cook until everything is heated through, then serve hot, garnished with extra scallions if desired.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, use crumbled tofu or tempeh instead of beef.
