A delightful combination of brownies and cookies, perfect for celebrating love on Valentine’s Day.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Brownie Mix
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Softened Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Pink Food Coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl and let it cool slightly.
  3. Combine the melted butter, brownie mix, and eggs in a large mixing bowl and stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Blend together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in another bowl until light and fluffy.
  6. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mix and stir until fully combined.
  7. Whisk together the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  8. Fold the dry ingredients into the butter-sugar blend until just combined.
  9. Add the pink food coloring if desired and mix gently.
  10. Spoon the cookie batter over the brownie layer, spreading it evenly.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the top is set.
  12. Slice into squares and serve warm or cold.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to three months. Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for best results.
