A hearty and comforting casserole packed with fresh winter vegetables and a creamy cheese sauce, perfect for chilly evenings.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly steam the cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots until they are tender but still crisp.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and stir in the flour.
  4. Slowly whisk in the milk, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add the shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the sauce.
  6. Combine the steamed vegetables with the cheese sauce in a baking dish.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
