Caramel Turtle Rice Krispie Treats

Delightfully chewy treats combining Rice Krispies, gooey caramel, and rich chocolate for an irresistible dessert.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups Rice Krispies
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until melted into a fluffy mixture.
  3. Mix in the Rice Krispies, folding until coated.
  4. Press half of the mixture into a greased 8×8 inch pan.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the pressed Rice Krispie layer.
  6. Top with chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
  7. Add the remaining Rice Krispie mixture on top.
  8. Chill the pan in the refrigerator until set, about 30 minutes.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days or freeze for longer storage. Ensure butter does not brown while melting.
