Classic Cucumber Sandwiches

Delightfully simple and refreshing cucumber sandwiches perfect for afternoon tea or light lunches.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices white bread
  • 1/2 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the cream cheese and dill until well combined.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture generously on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer the cucumber slices on one slice of bread, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread, cream cheese side down.
  5. Cut the sandwich into quarters and serve fresh.

Notes

These sandwiches are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for up to a day. Consider serving alongside iced tea or a light salad.
