Delicious tiny cookies that balance sweet and salty flavors with rich chocolate taste, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For a chewier cookie, slightly underbake them. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
