15-Minute Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Quick and easy crispy chocolate chip cookies that bring back childhood memories.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup (170 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (340 g) chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Combine the melted butter and both sugars, mixing until glossy and smooth.
  4. Crack in the egg and pour in the vanilla extract. Mix well.
  5. Slowly combine the wet and dry mixtures, stirring until just mixed.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and allow cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
