A creamy cheesecake infused with the spirit of Christmas featuring warm notes of orange and spice, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create a solid base for your cheesecake.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together until they are smooth and creamy. Add in the eggs one by one, making sure each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Then stir in the orange zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla, and sour cream until everything is well combined.
  3. Pour the luscious filling over your prepared crust and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside with the door ajar for about an hour. After this, refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to let the flavors meld beautifully.

Notes

For a festive touch, elevate with whipped cream or candied orange slices. This cheesecake can be made ahead of time, making it perfect for the holidays.
