A quick and easy recipe for crispy air fryer Parmesan cod that’s bursting with flavor and perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs (such as oregano, basil, or thyme)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) to get it nice and hot while you prepare the cod.
  2. Combine the Coating: In a bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, dried herbs, salt, and pepper until evenly combined.
  3. Pat the Cod Fillets Dry: Take your cod fillets and gently pat them dry with paper towels.
  4. Coat the Cod: Take each cod fillet and press it firmly into the Parmesan-herb mixture, coating both sides well.
  5. Prepare the Air Fryer Basket: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  6. Arrange the Cod Fillets: Place the coated cod fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Spritz with Olive Oil: Give the top of the fillets a light spray with olive oil.
  8. Air Fry to Perfection: Cook the fillets for 10-12 minutes, or until they’re golden and flake easily with a fork.
  9. Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm, and enjoy your culinary creation!

Notes

Leftover cod can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for the best results.
