A vibrant and flavorful shrimp dish infused with garlic, lime, and Mexican spices, perfect for tacos or salads.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Mix in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper; stir to combine.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Squeeze the lime juice over the cooked shrimp and mix well.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve in tacos, salads, or as a standalone dish.

Notes

Leftover shrimp can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently with a splash of lime juice.
