Cheesy Baked Ravioli Casserole

A comforting and cheesy baked ravioli casserole topped with golden, bubbly cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of refrigerated or frozen ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Create a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  3. Layer half of the ravioli over the marinara sauce.
  4. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the ravioli, then layer with mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, marinara sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese, finishing with grated Parmesan on top.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

This dish is best served warm and can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
