A comforting and flavorful dish that combines tender salmon with a rich and creamy garlic butter sauce, perfect for a special occasion or a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Season the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Carefully add the salmon to the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Remove the salmon and set it aside.
  6. Add sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until tender.
  7. Stir in fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  8. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer until it thickens slightly.
  9. Return the salmon to the pan and coat it in the creamy sauce.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with black pepper or fresh herbs.

Notes

For added flavor, consider pairing with a chilled glass of white wine. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
