A comforting and rich dish of pasta enveloped in a savory cream sauce, with buttery salmon and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (e.g., fettuccine or penne)
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the salmon in a large skillet over medium heat with olive oil, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Create the cream sauce by pouring in the heavy cream and bringing to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  5. Flake the cooked salmon into bite-sized pieces and add to the sauce. Toss in the cooked pasta, mixing everything together gently.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For a tangy flavor, consider adding a squeeze of lemon juice to the sauce before serving. Pair with a crisp salad and white wine.
