Ingredients
Scale
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup boiling water
1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
Oil for frying
Instructions
Mix the dough: In a mixing bowl, add the flour and gradually pour in the boiling water while stirring with a fork or chopsticks until a dough forms. Allow it to rest for about 30 minutes.
Divide the dough: After resting, divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and roll each into thin circles, about 8 inches in diameter.
Brush the surface of each circle with oil, sprinkle generously with chopped green onions and salt.
Roll the dough into a log, then coil it into a spiral. Flatten the coiled dough gently to create layers.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry each pancake for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Serve with sesame seeds or chili oil for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
