Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 1 tablespoon water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In the crockpot, combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, ground ginger, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  2. Coat the Chicken: Add the chicken breasts to the sauce and coat them evenly.
  3. Slow Cook: Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
