A simple yet delicious recipe for baked salmon fillets coated in a rich honey garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless salmon fillets, skin on
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp dried parsley (or 2 tsp fresh parsley, finely chopped)
  • ÂĽ tsp salt
  • ÂĽ tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of paprika
  • 1 lemon, sliced into thin half-moons

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) fan. Line a baking tray with foil or a silicone baking mat to make the clean-up a breeze.
  2. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the tray, ensuring they’re spaced slightly apart for even cooking.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  4. Spoon the honey garlic butter sauce evenly over each fillet, allowing some to pool around the salmon on the tray.
  5. Arrange the lemon slices on top of and around the fillets for an aromatic burst of freshness.
  6. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake the salmon for 8 minutes.
  7. Remove the tray from the oven and baste the salmon with the sauce. Return it to the oven and bake for an additional 4–7 minutes.
  8. Serve the salmon hot with your choice of potatoes and green vegetables.
