A delicious mashup of cheeseburger flavors transported onto a pizza, combining juicy beef, melted cheese, and tangy pickles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 recipe pizza dough
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 5–6 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 622 g)
  • ? cup sliced dill pickles (95 g)
  • ? cup chopped onion (47 g)
  • ? cup ketchup (157 g)
  • ? cup yellow mustard (77 g)
  • 1½ tablespoons mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Roll or stretch your pizza dough onto a baking sheet or stone. Pre-bake it for about 6 minutes until it’s slightly firm but not browned.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Break it up while cooking until fully browned, then drain excess grease.
  3. Whisk together ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise in a small bowl until smooth.
  4. Spread the sauce evenly over the pre-baked crust. Sprinkle a light layer of mozzarella before adding the cooked ground beef, chopped onion, and dill pickle slices. Finish with remaining mozzarella.
  5. Bake for 8–12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or a plant-based alternative. Experiment with different cheeses for added flavor.
