Juicy, tender steak bites marinated in garlic and balsamic vinegar, perfect for a satisfying meal or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Trim the steak cubes on a cutting board and trim any excess fat.
  2. Whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, Dijon mustard, oregano, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  3. Marinate the steak cubes in the bowl, tossing until each piece is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  5. Sauté the marinated steak bites in a single layer, cooking undisturbed for 2-3 minutes per side until a golden crust forms.
  6. Rest the steak bites on a plate for 5 minutes after removing from heat.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For the best flavor infusion, marinate the steak for at least an hour, but overnight is even better. Ensure your skillet is hot enough to form a crust. Avoid overcrowding the pan; cook in batches if necessary.
