Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (around 3 cloves)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and olive oil in a medium mixing bowl and whisk.
  4. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  5. Arrange the salmon fillets skin-side down in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Pour the maple glaze over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Baste with the reserved glaze halfway through cooking for extra flavor.
  9. Rest the salmon for a few minutes before serving.
  10. Serve warm with lemon wedges and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Use fresh, high-quality salmon for the best flavor. Basting halfway through adds moisture and enhances flavor.
