Deliciously fluffy and buttery gluten-free biscuits perfect for any meal or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups gluten-free baking flour blend (Cup4Cup recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter, chilled
  • 1 cup milk (any kind), plus extra for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a half sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the butter by dicing it into cubes and freezing for 10 minutes, or grating if frozen.
  3. Whisk together gluten-free flour blend, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Mix in the chilled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Drizzle in the milk while stirring to form a slightly sticky dough.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, gently pressing it together and flattening it to 3/4-inch thickness.
  7. Cut out 6–7 biscuits using a 3-inch cutter, reshaping scraps as needed.
  8. Bake for 12–14 minutes until golden brown, rotating the pan halfway through.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy their delightful fluffiness!

Notes

Ensure butter is cold for flakiness. Store leftover biscuits in an airtight container for up to 2 days; freeze for longer storage.
