A simple, indulgent dish featuring tender chicken breasts coated in a rich, creamy Boursin cheese sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 each chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 5.2 ounce Boursin cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Breasts by pounding them to an even thickness and seasoning both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the Chicken in olive oil over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Sauté the Garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Deglaze with Chicken Broth, stirring to scrape up browned bits from the pan.
  5. Create the Creamy Base by stirring in heavy cream and bringing to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add Boursin Cheese and whisk until melted and smooth.
  7. Combine Chicken and Sauce by returning the cooked chicken to the skillet and simmering for 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish and Serve with chopped parsley sprinkled over the chicken.

Notes

Pairs well with herbed rice, creamy mashed potatoes, or a crisp salad. Adjust thickness with more broth or cream if necessary.
