A comforting bowl of creamy tomato and roasted garlic pasta that warms both body and soul.

Ingredients

  • Canned tomatoes
  • Garlic cloves
  • Olive oil
  • Pasta (any type)
  • Cream
  • Butter
  • Fresh basil
  • Fresh thyme
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Sauté the garlic in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant.
  2. Add canned tomatoes and let simmer for 10 minutes to meld the flavors.
  3. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  4. Stir in cream and butter to the tomato sauce, mixing well until combined.
  5. Add fresh basil, thyme, salt, and pepper to taste.
  6. Drain the pasta and toss it with the sauce until well coated.
  7. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, add a splash of cream or water to restore consistency.
