Garlic Sesame Noodles

Quick and flavorful Garlic Sesame Noodles, perfect for a satisfying meal or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces noodles
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a large pot.
  2. Cook the noodles according to package instructions until tender.
  3. Drain the noodles in a colander and rinse with cold water.
  4. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium heat and add the sesame oil.
  5. Sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and chili paste into the skillet.
  7. Simmer the sauce for about 2 minutes to thicken slightly.
  8. Combine the drained noodles with the sauce in the skillet.
  9. Grate the fresh ginger directly into the pan and mix through the noodles.
  10. Toss the noodles for another 2-3 minutes until evenly coated and heated through.
  11. Transfer the noodles to a serving dish.
  12. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Leftover Garlic Sesame Noodles can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of water or sesame oil.
