Ham and Cheese Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls

Delicious ham and cheese sliders baked on sweet Hawaiian rolls, perfect for gatherings or family nights.

Ingredients

  • 12 count Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 12 slices deli ham
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally through the middle while keeping them attached at the back.
  3. Whisk the melted butter with Dijon mustard and honey in a small bowl.
  4. Brush the bottom half of the rolls with half of the butter mixture.
  5. Layer the deli ham and Swiss cheese on the bottom half of the rolls.
  6. Assemble the sliders by placing the top half of the rolls back on.
  7. Brush the remaining butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Sprinkle poppy seeds, onion powder, and garlic powder evenly over the top.
  9. Bake covered with foil for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden and melted.
  10. Cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, try different cheeses or add condiments like pickles or spicy mustard.
