Delicious and flaky biscuits filled with savory ham and gooey cheese, perfect for breakfast or a cozy brunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Incorporate the cold, cubed butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add the shredded cheese and diced ham.
  5. Combine the mixture with milk until just combined.
  6. Shape the dough into a sheet about 1 inch thick on a floured surface.
  7. Cut out biscuits using a round cutter and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
