Easy Honey Garlic Sausage & Cabbage Stir Fry

A quick and vibrant stir fry with beef sausage, cabbage, and a sweet honey garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef Sausage
  • 4 cups Green Cabbage, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 4 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Flakes (Optional)
  • 1 Yellow Onion, sliced
  • 1 Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 2 Carrots, julienned
  • 2 tbsp High-Heat Cooking Oil
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds, for garnish
  • 2 Green Onions, sliced, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Slice the beef sausage, cabbage, onion, bell peppers, and julienne the carrots. Mince garlic and grate ginger. Whisk together sauce ingredients and cornstarch slurry.
  2. Cook the sausage in a hot wok with oil until browned, then remove and set aside.
  3. Stir fry onions, carrots, and bell peppers for 3-5 minutes, then add garlic and ginger.
  4. Add sliced cabbage to the pan and stir-fry until softened while retaining crunch.
  5. Combine sausage and veggies, then pour in the honey garlic sauce and thicken with cornstarch slurry.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
