Delicious cookies combining creamy peanut butter and crunchy Butterfinger candy bits, evoking childhood memories.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup chopped Butterfinger candy bars
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the creamy peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Stir in the baking soda and flour until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped Butterfinger pieces.
  5. Drop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.
  7. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

For a softer cookie, slightly underbake and let them continue to cook while cooling. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to one week.
