A delightful Thai dish featuring shrimp glazed in a sweet and spicy sauce, perfect for quick dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing the sweet chili sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Set it aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the shrimp in the skillet until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Combine the shrimp with the sauce and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Thicken the sauce by cooking for an additional 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

Make sure to use fresh shrimp for the best flavor. Adjust the sweetness of the sauce to your taste with lime juice or hot sauce.
