A stunning Easter Pavlova featuring delicate meringue, whipped cream, and vibrant seasonal fruits. This dessert is perfect for festive gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Seasonal fresh fruits (e.g., strawberries, kiwi, passionfruit)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the egg whites in a clean, dry bowl until soft peaks form. Gradually add the granulated sugar, continuing to beat until glossy and stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold in the vanilla extract, vinegar, and cornstarch until just combined.
  4. Spoon or pipe the meringue mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into nests or circles, creating a well in the center.
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until crisp on the outside, then turn off the oven and let cool completely inside.
  6. Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
  7. Top the cooled meringues with whipped cream and a variety of fresh seasonal fruits.
  8. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container until ready to serve.

Notes

Ensure your mixing bowl and beaters are clean and dry for the best results. Store assembled Pavlova in the fridge for a few hours, but serve immediately for the best texture.
