A light and fluffy peanut butter mousse that captures nostalgic flavors, perfect for layering in cakes or enjoying on its own.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and softened cream cheese. Mix until smooth.
  2. Sweeten It Up: Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
  3. Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Combine Whipped Cream and Peanut Butter Mixture: Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture.
  5. Chill and Set: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, mix in different nut butters or add cocoa powder for chocolate mousse.
