A quick and flavorful dish featuring crispy fried shrimp tossed in a creamy, tangy Bang Bang sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Create the Bang Bang Sauce: In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to create the Bang Bang sauce.
  2. Dredge the Shrimp: Dredge the shrimp in cornstarch, shaking off any excess to ensure they are evenly coated.
  3. Heat the Oil: Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat, ensuring a hot and ready surface for frying.
  4. Fry the Shrimp: Fry the shrimp until golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Coat the Shrimp: Remove the shrimp from the oil and toss them in the Bang Bang sauce until well coated.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions for an added pop of color and flavor.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding garlic powder to the cornstarch before dredging the shrimp. Adjust the amount of sriracha according to spice preferences.
