A classic Italian pasta dish that combines simplicity and flavor, with just pasta, Pecorino Romano cheese, black pepper, and salt.

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti or tonnarelli
  • Pecorino Romano cheese
  • Black pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Boil your pasta in salted boiling water until al dente.
  2. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. Toast the black pepper in a large skillet over medium heat until fragrant.
  4. Combine hot, drained pasta with the toasted pepper and reserved pasta water.
  5. Create the creamy sauce by gradually adding grated Pecorino Romano cheese, stirring continuously.
  6. Adjust the consistency with more reserved pasta water if needed.

Notes

For extra creaminess, ensure to stir the cheese continuously while adding it to the pasta.
