A delightful chocolate cake with a gooey pudding layer, perfect for transforming any day into a celebration.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) while you get everything ready for your cake.
  2. Grease a baking dish to prevent sticking.
  3. Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  4. Mix in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into your prepared dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Add the boiling water over the top of the batter without stirring.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is set.
  8. Let the cake cool slightly before serving.
  9. Serve in bowls and enjoy!
