A delightful breakfast casserole made with cinnamon rolls, eggs, and a rich custard mixture, perfect for brunch gatherings.

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • Icing (from the cinnamon roll cans or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. Open the cinnamon roll dough and cut each roll into quarters.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon in a large bowl.
  4. Place the cut cinnamon rolls evenly in the greased baking dish and pour the egg mixture over the top.
  5. Drizzle the maple syrup generously over the mixture.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and set in the middle.
  7. Cool slightly and drizzle with icing before serving.
