Crack Chicken is a creamy and savory slow-cooked dish featuring tender chicken, zesty ranch, and crispy bacon, perfect for gatherings and cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crispy bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix over the chicken, letting its zesty flavor infuse into the meat.
  3. Add the cream cheese on top, allowing it to melt and become beautifully creamy during cooking.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth, which will keep your chicken moist and flavorful as it cooks.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, depending on your schedule and how much time you have.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker and mix all ingredients together until it’s well combined.
  7. Stir in the cheddar cheese and crispy bacon, allowing the cheese to melt into the mixture.
  8. Serve garnished with sliced green onions for that fresh crunch and a pop of color.
