A silky, indulgent creamy mushroom pasta dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights or a romantic dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
  • 2 cups mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until soft, stirring occasionally.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, allowing the flavors to meld.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Combine cooked pasta with the mushroom sauce, stirring to coat evenly.
  9. Serve garnished with fresh parsley for a burst of color and flavor.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
