Grandmother’s Garlic Knots

These garlic knots are little parcels of joy brushed with a decadent garlic butter mixture, perfect as a side dish or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll the pizza dough into long ropes.
  3. Place the knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Combine the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl.
  5. Brush the garlic butter mixture over each knot.
  6. Bake the knots for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in some grated Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs to the garlic butter.
