Homemade Snickers Bars

Deliciously healthy homemade Snickers bars made with dates, peanut butter, and dark chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • Sea salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Blend dates and peanut butter until smooth.
  2. Incorporate the rolled oats and blend until combined.
  3. Create the base by pressing the mixture into a lined baking dish and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
  4. Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave until smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate over the bars and sprinkle with sea salt.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours until firm.
  7. Slice into bars and serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
