A quick and delicious teriyaki salmon recipe with a luscious glaze, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger until the brown sugar is fully dissolved.
  2. Place the salmon in a baking dish and pour the marinade over it. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while the salmon is marinating.
  4. Bake the salmon on a lined baking sheet for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

For best results, marinate longer if time allows. Adjust baking time as needed for different ovens.
