Tender and flavorful BBQ Pulled Pork, perfect for gatherings and celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Water or chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Rub the pork shoulder with the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  2. Place the seasoned pork in a slow cooker with a bit of water or chicken broth.
  3. Cook on low for 480-600 minutes or until the meat is tender.
  4. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
  5. Mix the shredded pork with barbecue sauce.
  6. Serve the pulled pork on buns or with your favorite sides.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
